the only time i've heard of "Eruv" or "Eruvin" was from here

and even then its mostly in Brooklyn and other turbo jewish neighborhoods

Its everywhere. Basically in every country and in every usa city. Israel is almost entirely eruvved. Theres probably one near you.

So much anal retentive observation of strict religious law, completely undermined by the lengths they'll go to invent loopholes around them. Jesus' sermon after chasing out the bankers and merchants from the sanctuary was mostly about materialism and fame.

And He constantly harped on the Pharasees for being "legalistic" instead of faithful.
