From what I can find, he was part of a [climate change committee](https://archive.is/be3yj) that [tried to push carbon tax](https://archive.ph/usjjT). The 2019 version of the bill seems to be in limbo. Zeldin was very active in this committee so this was not forced on him nor was he trying to run interference against “climate change” tyranny.
