That's ultimately true, but here's an efficient way to start: look for WELS or ELS Lutheran churches. They are "confessional Lutheran", meaning they aren't just Lutheran in name. LCMS and some other synods are also confessional but some subversive ideas have entered thr senior leadership. Still worth checking out. Lutheranism is the true continuation of the Catholic church.

We've tried most of the churches within 30 minutes that aren't openly flying rainbow flags or have women pastors (very rural area so not many around). We still go to a Baptist church that my wifes family goes to about 40 minutes away. Always tempted to start a house church though
