Youtube subscriptions, traffic, etc. is all highly controlled. These supposed subscription losses are just a show. His overlords gleefully seize the opportunity to penalize him. They'll offer him pennies and "promises" if he does better, but it'll never happen. This entire schpiel is just a wannabe psy op.
