Up until the late 1800s it was presumed the Troy was a mythical place too, but then the ruins of Troy were discovered. The man who discovered it learned about Troy from the same texts that the Atlantis 'myth' originates from.

Atlantis was probably one of the degenerate race and religion mixing civilizations destroyed in the Flood spoken of in the bible. I bet theres a whole bunch of undersea ruins from antediluvian civilization just waiting to be found
