I think the assassination shenanigans were a sign that Trump cut a deal with the (((deep state))). If they wanted him dead, he would be. If they wanted to keep these soy-leftist "gunmen" away from him, they would have. They wanted to let them get close to make it appear that he's being targetting but also has divine-level protection to galvanize his voting base.
Obviously they could just steal the election for him, but that's not what they care about. They want all the dissidents, patriots, and just family oriented Americans all in one place, and that place will be Iran.
If Trump blusters Iran down and reigns in Israel, I'll gladly admit I'm wrong. If he starts talking up a boots-on-the-ground war with Iran, well, we know what's up.
