I built high end kitchens and bathrooms. I did well enough with labor, punctuality, and being a fucking capable person to where I got promoted to managing crews.

I make double what I used to from a desk, and I fucking hate it.

They're all fucking retarded. They can't fucking think through a fucking problem. If I don't baby step them through which side of the fucking trash can to stand on they'll end up inside it dumping shit onto the street. And they fucking have!

I spent 3 mother fucking hours today walking a 55 year old through writing an estimate off a work order. I can do it in 5 minutes.

And he still fucked it up.

I hide my power levels in public but today I almost fucking didn't.

How the fuck does this company function? How does any nation function with these fucking retards

I'm increasingly running into Mexicans in every day life who don't speak English, who are working at a publicly facing company, who can't speak English, and demand that I speak Spanish. Infuriating is putting it mildly.

At least here everyone speaks the language, but they can't think. That's what bugs me. All the tools are there and you are supposed to be a pro, think through the problem. I cannot do it for you

Yeah, they can't think either. Even accounting for the language barrier, some of these people are legitimately inbred retards. Like, actually watch someone try to put a square object into a round hole, not having it fit, and then trying again with another, larger square object. You tell that round object goes in round hole, and they just clear their throat at you in arab speak and try another, even larger square.

I think a huge issue is the edjewcation system trains people to just memorize solutions instead of solving the problems through reasoning. Its so bad they had us memorizing multiplication tables in high school instead of doing the problem ourselves. The *only* thing the edjewcation system can produce is mindless drones capable of performing memorized actions on repeat, and likely by design.

If you compare classical education to how we are educated now, you are precisely right.

The only reason I ever read a single page of the Western canon (other than the obvious books like The Bible) and actually dug into the philosophical underpinnings of our society is owing to me insatiable desire for more understanding of how systems work, and if/how they can be improved. It is a shame how much time we spent learning about the hall of cost or muh slavery when we could have been learning things that actually matter.

Get hard copies of the books. Read them to your children. Discuss the topics with them. Raise the next generation of conquerers- they will be needed.
