The other wants to destroy any semblance of the culture you wish to return to.

Every vote they steal, every cheat they make, every political favor they call in, cost them time money effort and political capital. Their resources are not infinite. The greater they have to manipulate the system the more egregious and the more normal people wake up to it. Just look at the noticing between 2020 and now. We are winning but it requires effort.
Apathy never won a war. In war you use every tactic available to you, and any good general will tell you bodies don't win, logistics do. Drain their resources with your vote.
