The camps liberated by the Americans were not extermination camps, they were just labor camps. Again this is according to the official history.
Normies believe a different holocaust myth than what is believed by mainstream historians.
Try with a different angle then. Instead of denying the Germans' atrocities, just explain to her that it was the Jews who tried to genocide us first. Redpill her on the communist revolutions and the genocides that the Jews have committed in Russia and Ukraine. They tried to do the same in Europe.
If I thought Hitler was responsible for WWII, I would not support him.
In fact, Jews were mass murdered in Eastern Europe mostly by the local populations as a retaliation for all the mass murders that the Jews did as Bolsheviks.
The mainstream narrative tries hard to give you the impression that it was just the Germans who were killing Jews (no doubt because they were under the magic spell of Adolf Hitler). In reality the massacres against Jews were carried out mostly by non-Germans, who were much more brutal because they had a reason for revenge.
That's also why the holocaust happened entirely in Eastern Europe (particularly Ukraine) and not in places like France or Italy that were occupied by the Germans.
Obviously the Jews cannot come up and say "the people of a dozen different countries suddenly decided to kill us all for no reason at all", and this is why they had to build up the image of Hitler as an evil mastermind who was able to influence the masses at a level not seen since Prophet Muhammad.
