Spent a week in Egypt. The ancient ruins are beautiful and were built by a higher people. Everything else is a shithole. Writing about this because I think it’s important to know our history and I encourage anyone with the means to visit and be inspired.

I only recommend visiting Egypt if you have interest in ancient civilizations. It is not a vacation destination otherwise. Do not bring children there. However, I think it has romantic potential given how many pharaohs built monuments for their wives, so I think it would be fun for a couple to explore the ruins together.

I went with a group of 20, hosted by a historian and led by one of the few good Arabs. Every step you take in Egypt needs to be planned, starting from the moment you leave the airplane. Do not improvise.

You will be vindicated for the racism you know to be true. You will learn why Arabs are sand niggers, dune coons, etc. Modern Egypt is a land of beggars. The Arabs hold the ancient ruins hostage and extort the first world to maintain the ruins. Ancient Egypt is part of our history, not theirs. Several ruins have had to be rebuilt thanks to poor planning.

There’s a lot I can say. Post questions and I’ll answer.

Most of the maintenance comes from USA, Europe, and surprisingly, Japan. Arabs will keep fucking up the Nile and the environment.

Indeed, you’re correct. Anyone reading this should buy all the tickets to the sites prior to visiting. They are all inexpensive, thankfully. You want to limit your interaction with the Arab guards as much as possible.

Cruise is a great way to travel through Egypt. The cities are horrendous.

Next time you go, see if you can go as far south as Abu Simbel. The Temples of Ramses II and his wife Nefertare are a sight to behold.
