This is most likely a screen calibration issue. If you rig an election you do it at the database level where the user can't see what you're doing, not in the fucking user interface.

People push too hard on the cheap Chinese touch screen, they tend to break and register the push elsewhere when that happens. Could be boomers like geralt and his forklift certified nigger grandson, or it could be some demonrat who happens to know about fragile touch screens who sabotage it by pushing hard near the edge.

No actually, if you're rigging an election you simply calibrate all the screens incorrectly so you have plausible deniability.
