That said, lead still occurs in many places, such as car tires and is released in large quantities in the air near every major road with lot's of traffic. 12V car batteries has lead in them. Ammo is full of lead, hence a risk of polluted water if you live near a shooting range.

Also consider the risk of lead entering the drinking water. I'd paint the inside of the house rather than the outside with lead paint, then perhaps a second layer of regular paint over it. That should give protection but avoid any risk of ingestion through dust or similar.

Or for new construction, instead of paint just add a layer of lead foil with the insulation.

With all the EV fires, it wouldn't surprise me if they started building with asbestos again too, out of necessity. 🤡🌎
