They’ve hurt for not being able to fuck their next generations over fast enough.

I don’t like boomer hate, but damn it’s hard not to. I live in an unofficial retirement community, average median age being like 65, and go out to breakfast every second Sunday with my wife. These old boomers gather in huge groups to have breakfast as well and listening to them talk could make you sick. All they talk about is how much money they have, the newest thing they bought or bought and sold at a huge loss because they didn’t like it, how much they lost on the slots while laughing it up, while simultaneously talking about how X granddaughter or grandson is struggling to pay for college, working two jobs, their sons or daughters lost a job here, mortgage payments went up there, stuck living in a ghetto because that’s all they can afford, obviously struggling but they’ll get through it. They just need to put their head down and work harder, nothing was handed to the boomers when they were raising a family etc.

It’s enough to make you stroke out from high blood pressure. I can’t imagine having my kids tell me they’re struggling horribly, or their kids are struggling to find a job that pays enough to get a home, and being like

> well just work your wife harder while you take more hours, strain your marriage, and never see your kids. All while I sit on my fat millions I made working 8 hours a day with no Highschool diploma in my 90% white society and detached house that cost only 4x my yearly take home salary and having to pay almost none of the taxes you do and gaining massive dividends by having all the good paying jobs I worked shipped overseas to increase profits. Of course once I blow all my money I expect you to take even more time out of your day to care for me into my old age until I die and leave you nothing.

Like fuck, I hear this type of stuff every week living around these old farts. Very few of them are of the mindset that you should grow your wealth to help your kids/grandkids. Thankfully my mom’s doing that, and I’m doing it for my kids who don’t exist yet. By the time they’re 18 they’ll know a trade, and own a brand new craftsman home in a family development.
