I agree. He's controlled opposition/pressure release valve, whether he knows it or not. He's a veteran who still seemingly upholds that order (as shown by inviting those foreign soldiers on his show).

I'm also disappointed hearing about his infidelity between his soon to be second exwife. For the most part, who gives a fuck, but he's a guy that preaches about trad life and that's his schtick... to just blatantly kick that aside and cheat on his wife is grade A hypocrisy and really telling of his character.

What were the circumstances though? He may have been providing her an amazing life, and she took it for granted and gave him the cold pussy while using his children against him. Happens all the time today with women because they know they have all the power.
