The youngest possible WWII veterans had to be born no later than August 1927, making them 97 years old today. Taking ~25 years per generation makes grandchildren of WWII veterans at least ~47 years old. If you're one of the few Gen Xers that still has a living grandparent that fought in WWII, they're old as fuck and you're getting up there too.
