Only in the Kirby anime, where Dedede is retardedly evil and motivate solely out of spite at Kirby being more popular than him. So in other words, anime Dedede is jewish (and I think in the Japanese version of it, his theme is literally Klezmer like item bounce)

In the games, he's just a buffoon who tends to get mind controlled by whatever the real antagonist is, and generally befriends kirby within the first couple levels.
