Don't the celts descend from the Gauls and thats why theyre called Gaelic? I know the Gauls were active in southern europe and the orient because theyre mentioned in the Bible.

Edit: Galatians are mentioned in the bible, not the Gauls directly. It seems the Galatians were from Anatolia, but I have no idea if they were related to the Gauls in any way.
