As someone with a degree in software engineering, save your money. Start freelancing to build a portfolio of works. We almost never hire based on a degree anyways, it's always experience based. The more you can show what you know the better.
It's never too late to be great! You're here which means you're good at noticing patterns. That's half of the issue with engineering. The other half is problem solving mixed with a bit of ingenuity. Good luck with your endeavors!
No. Its not that simple. It cant replace a coder. It can speed you up and teach you. For instance, i got a spreadsheet with a blank row in between every entry. Stupid. I cant sort it out. i could write the code myself but instead I asked chat gpt to do it. It generated code and wrote it slightly differently than I would have. So it speed me up and taught me something. However it can not do complex things and sometimes its flat out wrong.
You need to be smart about it but it cant replace you. It can make you more efficient or learn something from it. Use it as a tool. It can help you build the pieces you need. But it cant build the pyramid
