Sometimes divergent evolutionary branches recombine as hybrid species. Evolution operates on two mechanisms:
1. What's required to survive adolescence (achieving fertility)
2. What improves your chances of a reproductive event

So how exactly the two bloodlines achieve genetic balance in a hybrid population differs a lot.

We're all a bit Neanderthal, except for niggers who are a bit "unidentified extinct primate".
