First of all, spain was not muslim by population, it was only conquered by them. This is comparing apples to oranges. It like saying s america was white because it was conquered by whites.
Second, back then everyone knew it was an invasion and wanted them out asap. Now we are inviting them in.
Third of all. X% out of 10 million is much easier to overthrow than x% out of 300 million.
And this still turned Spaniards browner than they were before being conquered. It is likely that the rest of Europeans will look like Spaniards if not even browner unless they turn this around extremely soon. Even if only a tiny percentage of people racemix that mixture will still spread through the rest of the population eventually. Europe's situation has never been this dire.
