tattoos used to be the purvue of those in the military, sailors, gangs, and those in prison. They used to signal that you were a dangerous person and/or have an interesting or outlaw lifestlye.

Now tattoos have no meaning. The signal is lost. That 5 ft nothing 90lb barista with the full sleeves isnt interesting or dangerous because of them. Neither is that fixie bicycle riding, summer beanie wearing vegan with a neck tat. Even some milquetoast grandmas have a butterfly or rose tattoo.

Tattoos are a fashion choice now. And like all fashion choices, they go out of style. They are the equivalent of permanently sewing bellbottoms on your legs or somehow permanently teasing your hair.

1. What kind of a fucked up bitch gets a tattoo of a scorpion? That's an even bigger red flag than the tattoos themselves.

2. Someone once told me each tattoo = a major trauma. This woman has more trauma than a New York emergency room on a Saturday night.

"snap out of it" ... she'll never snap out of it. you're stuck with them and you're starting to regret every getting them.

How the fuck do women manage to get tattoos? I'm not talking about how they look like shit and everyone knows it.

I mean this bitch can't spend less than 45 minutes deciding which restaurant she wants to eat at for dinner, and will change her shirt three times before going out on a date.

But when it comes to permanent ink? Fuck it, lets do a scorpion today!

Yet another example of why women need men to care for them.

They're impulsive and have no concept of long-term consequences; hence why they end up as single moms from bum dudes.

I never had any interested in tattoos in the same way I've never worn a shirt with a message on it: because one image or statement doesn't represent me and because I don't care what other people think.

What even are they? What meaning do they have? They look like random doodles.

Exactly why I never got a tattoo. I can't even imagine having something my 20 year old brain thought was cool on my body right now.

Every stupid tattoo on her is some stupid drama that you will have to deal with at some point.
