What they call "disinformation" is truth. They do not care about actual disinformation, like "Earth is flat", they care about suppressing truth (that exposes their lies) and to push their own lies.

You could call it Orwellian, but I think it's a little too much credit. It's not like "lying" and the intent to control information is such a novel concept.
