Glad this tradition was carried on in Christian All Hallows Eve/All Saints Day. A shame the traditional worship of both have fallen to the wayside

its not the same thing. All Saints days celebrates saints, and saints can be any race. Samhain celebrates your ancestors specifically.

Well, it was originally for the souls of the Martyrs and it also extends to November 2nd which is All Souls Day. I guess that's more specifically for family and ancestors
