Many people here hate my stance on this, but I'm all for freedom. You can be gay, there should be no law against it. *However,* I'm sick of people conflating "freedom" with "you aren't allowed to shame it!"
If we all just stopped being so damn obsessed with not being "homophobic," and we ended the laws that actually ban us from being "homophobic" (such as the Civil Rights Act and similar legislation), the mechanisms of shame would stop all this faggotry without the heavy hand of the law, which ends up driving more people to "rebel" and be faggy anyway.
