Being a Godless Libertine is not "Freedom" it is literally the worst sort of slavery. Vice and Addiction are the masters that exists in your mind, there is no escape from them as you could escape from a human slave master. One of the greatest tricks of the Devil is to convince people that his Tyranny of Vice is "freedom" while the True Freedom granted by the Discipline of Christ is some form of bondage. Faggots are the biggest slaves of them all, because if they were free, they could stop being faggots at any time. The only way they can gain freedom is repenting and amending their life and submitting to Christ, but many are unlikely to ever do that without the threat of painful execution.
