The Greeks abandoned the gods of Olympus because they were degenerate, hostile, and apathetic towards humans. Once they learned of Christ, they happily switched and never looked back.

untrue, to this day the celebration of greek mythos are a common occurrence in Greek culture, you have streets, holidays and businesses named after Greek mythos
to say they have completely abandoned it would be a total and complete lie, granted it lives in harmony with east orthodox Christianity.

4. One of us has spent a significant amount of time in Greece, and I guarantee you it's not you. Yeah, Hermes has a street dedicated to him in Athens - but after that, zero Olympian holidays are celebrated, as the country is overwhelmingly Christian. The orthodox church has political sway there. Easter (or as they call it, "anastasi," literally "resurrection") is the biggest holiday of the year. You will find icons of saints in government buildings and homes alike. They're so overtly Christian, they even sell character themed church candles for kids (barbie, ninja turtles, Pokémon, etc).
5. The idea that they still venerate Olympus beyond a few cultural references is laughable. Spend a week there outside of the tourist areas and this will become readily apparent.
Thats a bit different from worshipping Devil's pretending to be your ancestral heroes.
