That’s Marcionism, a heresy. Jesus appears several times in the Old Testament as the “Angel of the Lord.” Jesus also quotes the Old Testament, which would be strange to do if it was about a different god.

God is so brutal in the Old Testament because of the immense evil of the peoples opposing the Israelites. (Child sacrifice, phallic/sex worship, etc.)

Not a kike.. you’re putting words in my mouth.

The God of the Old Testament is the same as the God of the New Testament. Yahweh is a somewhat recent term so I’m not talking about specific names.

Wouldn’t it be strange for Jesus to quote the Old Testament if it is the religious texts of a false god?

Why does he refer to the law of the Old Testament if it is the law of another god?:

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. “ Matthew 5:17 ESV

I said no such thing, but okay.

“ And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2 And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light. 3 And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him.” Matthew 17:1-3 ESV.

Why are Moses and Elijah here if they are part of a false god’s Old Testament?

Your argument has zero scriptural support and is literally the earliest heresy. Point me to a verse where Jesus denies the god of the Old Testament.

The *only* thing stopping God from going full OT on us today is the regular sacrifice of the Eucharist. If the Eucharist were to stop, OT God would look *merciful* in comparison to what He would unleash on us for the abominations present today.

I’m interested in reading about this. Is this in scripture or church doctrine? I’m not very familiar with Catholicism.
