i make steak almost everyday, it requires minimal prep and its piss easy to make
tad expensive if you're going for the premium cuts, but the cheaper cuts (such as Denver cut) will make do regardless with proper seasonings
Rice (and beans) can be cooked on the same skillet (White people Wok) that you used to cook the meat so all the delicious juices from the beef will be transferred to the Rice (which acts like a sponge for liquids)
and yes, i fry my meat in olive oil because its the best way to make beef, esp if you're using the aromatic & flavorful kinds (Koroneiki and Kalamata Variants)
