Drunk illegal Mexican runs a red light and T-bones a police cruiser. I'm a witness and first responder on scene. I make sure the pig is ok and then detain the drunk Mexican driver and his drunk passenger (they thought I was the pig they ran into).

Police backup comes within 2 minutes (because when it's one of their own, they respond instantly, if it's you in trouble, they may or may not come within 1 hour). First they attempt to arrest me, because naturally, as the Straight White Male first responder, they think I did it. Luckily the pig they crashed into is still conscious and tells them it wasn't me.

I am a witness and I get subpoenaed. The day before I'm due to testify in court, I get a call from the court clerk saying I don't have to come in to court because the DA is not going to move forward with the case. ::shrugs::

I know if it were me, they would throw the book at me and that's happened to me before where I committed a minor misdemeanor and a task force consisting of the entire precinct raided my house with guns drawn at 6am.

You have to understand that the government is evil, the government hates you, and is not on our side. The government has one job and that's to ruin your life.
