The price/quality ratio at restaurants has been on a downward trajectory for quite a while, but after covid, it plummeted.

I have a confession to make, I used to actually like the spicy asiago chicken sandwich from Wendy's. It was an actual piece of chicken where you could see the muscle fibers after you bit into it. Now it's made out of the same stuff they make their chicken nuggets out of. Wendy's doesn't even have "grilled" chicken anymore because how do you grill an amalgamation of chicken byproducts and (what I can only assume is) a mixture of "nutrient rich animal feed".
