Is locking up items a demoralization tactic?

The reason I ask this is because I was buying motor oil at Walmart and walked by the Lego section that was entirely behind glass with signs that told you to contact an associate for assistance. Keep in mind this wasn't in Minneapolis or even an urban Walmart. This was a relatively small rural town in the Midwest.

Generally speaking, I avoid Walmart and maybe that's why whenever I actually do go there, I notice these differences. I don't think they're putting Legos behind glass because people are stealing Legos, I think they're doing that to get ahead of accusations of "racism" because now they can say "we lock up stuff at *all* our stores, not just the stores in black areas".

One of the things that's quickly fading in the west is any transaction that involves the "honor system". Stuff doesn't have to be constantly monitored and locked up when you know the people that live around you. IMHO, they're trying to make us suspicious of our own just like the Soviets did with the Stasi in East Germany.

i think you are overthinking that aspect of it, corporations like that often apply broad sweeping policies to all their stores, regardless of whether each individual store needs it or not

i do not think they would do that merely for demoralization purposes

but yeah, regarding "we lock stuff up in all our stores, not just chimpzones", i think that might be something to do with it, so you might be right there

Cheap to make, expensive to buy. It's all by design. They shut down competition aggressively and create scarcity artificially. You'd be amazed how expensive some of the rare items can be, even tho it's just colored plastic formed to simple shapes.

Or even recreating the forms and pour molten plastic in there for mass production. There's apparently some blocks that uses a mix of two colors, nobody really knows were they come from, but they're incredibly rare and insanely expensive. If you can recreate those, you could make a lot of easy money from the sheep consoomers.

Very difficult to produce to the repeatable, precise manufacturing tolerances that LEGO uses. That's why any of the knockoff "legos" fit together like shit. It's way easier said than done if you've ever done any type of manufacturing job.

Living with gaggles of Mexicans who steal carts of LEGO and other assorted 'products' to sell on the black market is the demoralizing tactic. Locking everything down is an anti-shrink program. If you lose more product then you sell the store just disappears.

You can blame blacks for additional theft but it's not black people buying the stolen merchandise, it's mostly Mexicans.

She made me laugh. I was a residential IT helper (work study at the college dorms) and she was eating with us at the cafeteria after move in week. She was literate (library sciences - and I like to deep research) and could swim (she was on the swimming team, but her butterfly stroke was crap). And my neice loved her.

Now, her sister... also adopted... so that takes nurture out of nature... got pregnant in high school and they found out because she got in a street fight and her friend shouted "DON'T HIT HER IN THE STOMACH - SHE'S PREGNANT!" and was constantly in jail. She actually "went out for groceries" and left the 2 kids she of whom she still had custody with a neighbor. THey found her passed out on a stranger's porch 3 days later. And then the CPS crap happened.

Honestly, I was near marrying her. But she turned out like every other female. She wanted to get married and have kids riht away because her frineds from high school were doing the same. Forget the fact that they, including her, came from rich families while I grew up across a hay field from a trailer park close enough to the Amish farms that I rode my bike past them almost every day dujrring summer to get to Westminster Highlands (great nature reserve with a Christian day camp).

LOL she thought she was going to have a Sister, Sister moment since she was adopted. Turns out her coalburner mom moved to SanFran and hooked up with a bulldyke and her absent father never even contacted her even though she moved to within a 2 hour drive from where he lived. Niggers, man.

Agreed. As others have stated, there is an economic factor but it isn't just expensive stuff or legos. It's like there's a quota being put on how much stuff needs to be locked up. I remember trying to buy a cigarette lighter plug phone charger and those would be behind glass in the electronic section right next to $100 walkie talkies that were out in the open but those same chargers were wide open in the check-out aisle.

Stores locking things up is more of a symptom, what else are they gonna do when they can't stop the thieves, when video evidence is useless, theft practically legalized in some blue shitholes.

America is doomed because the communities are not legitimate. The people who move into a neighborhood are too different and all hate each other and complain to HOA to get over on each other. It's part of the argument i got into with most ConsumeProduct members because they CONSUME the perfect green grass lawn which is just consumerism and a product and faggot lifestyle since green grass is poor utilization of land and your ancestors would utilize land to grow crops or raise livestock or grow lumber or something useful, not belch beer and stare at useless grass with boomers.

So you have people who hate each other and have nothing in common all living in close vicinity since contractors and developers will sell you lots where the house takes up 75% of the lot and leave you with almost zero land. So everyone is close staring at each other and you can hear your neighbors' conversations. One house is full of misbehaving child predator spics another house is niggers another house is faggots another house is cuckold family with manbun guy another house is zipperheads. The shit can never work. Does anyone vouch or vet for you when you move into a neighborhood? It's a free for all. Plus people come and go so fast now it's not even worth getting to know your neighbor because he'll move again in 3-5 years. Honestly, you can get rich just by strategically upgrading your home property by planning and beating the housing market knowing the areas that will have most equity growth.

When colonialists came on a ship, say the pilgrims, I imagine they all were the same religion from same church from same town all making the voyage together as a genuine community and group. They looked alike, had same morals and rules and customs.
