Reminder: for all of the 2000's, Arabs were portrayed as the bad guys. No one even remembered WW2. Then 2008 hit and suddenly Valkyrie and Inglourious Basterds comes out. Suddenly nazis are back on the menu. Inglourious Basterds is still a shit movie to this day, it's hyped up because of "muh nazis".

Yeah. I was a Tarantino fanboi for a long time before figuring shit out. But even back then I thought Inglorious Basterds was kinda gay and stupid. Like, the nigger in 1940's France. Yeah. Ok.
