Yeah the cops were actually really good to him. My brother had no history with police and was washing his car in the driveway on a Friday evening after work enjoying the sun on his face, keys in the ignition playing some light music, and having a drink. He was applying tire shine when a cruiser drove by and saw the drink with him outside the car, along with vacuum, rags, soap, etc. but decided to see if his keys were in the ignition. They were and so boom, he gets a “care and control” charge while being under the influence and spent night in jail along with a type of DUI? Not the same as drunk driving but with most of the penalties.

Either way, he should stop drinking. I don’t drink and life’s great, but yes those cops were more than fair with him.

Huh? That's different. Cops should not fuck with you in your own driveway. Your comment makes no sense. You are probably a fucking bot.

Canada. Look it up, now police can even knock on your door acting on a tip that you ***were*** driving and breathalyze you two hours after you apparently stopped driving and give you a DUI in your house at front door.

Just because you haven’t heard of it doesn’t make me a bot.

Nonsense. He arrived home, went into the house, left the keys in the ignition, and chugged a pint of whiskey. He was not technically driving while impaired. Any alcohol test 2 hours after pulling vehicle into driveway does not isolate alcoholism with the prior driving. Too much plausible deniability. What is the name of his shit lawyer?
