Their companies, if white collar, didn't have nigger hiring programs. If blue collar, there weren't mandatory diversity requirements or forced acceptance. Your odds of dealing with a* truly* worthless nigger were low. Still niggers, but, there's a difference
You had groups and clubs and organizations to escape from the nigger fatigue of modernity. You had a family with a wife who hadn't run through 300 miles of brown dick in college. You had kids who didn't have to worry about being victimized casually and then be told it's their fault.
