I'm certain that people said the same thing in the years prior to the French Revolution, the rise of the National Socialists in Germany, and in similar situations throughout history.

The Soviet Union fell, and they had exceptionally nasty secret police and surveillance, shitversity within their borders (Chechen Muslims, etc.), and communist capture of the establishment...

That one fell without mass violence too, so I think I'll continue to focus on checking out of the system as much as possible and making sure my local community is strong.

But no universal GPS trackers and cameras for everyone, everywhere. It’s worse now, worldwide.
