Once someone gets to about $10 million in net worth, they can afford to offshore and they're basically not paying any taxes.
So when you say you are taxing the "super wealthy", all you end up doing is taxing people with <$10 million in net worth, which includes doctors and small business owners such as your local plumber and electrician, pizza joint, basically upper earning working class people doing things that are very valuable to society. I'm going to guess that's not the intent but that's what ends up happening.
