They love to do this with studies. They just outsource all critical thinking to the paper monks of science.

My new favorite activity when this happens is to link them the study showing 70% of all papers are not reproducible by independent analysis.

THEN I show them that like 25% of all papers are also fraudulent.

Very satisfying.
