Judaism in antiquity as we are sold is a historical fairy tale. Judaism is based on the Pharisee cult which they freely admit, just like they admit that the actual Israelite priests and nobility (Sadducees) said their "oral Torah" Talmud was a historical fraud and never existed.

Jesus preached against the Pharisees and they included Edomites (SHEMites/Semites from Israel's brother Esau) like Herod the Great who had Israelite children put to death anticipating the biblical Israelite messiah as told in the Gospels. It's why they took laws meant for the priesthood families, which that first article from the Jewish virtual Library site I linked calls "elitists" and tried to apply it to themselves and the non priests so they could make themselves look important.
