No. They say "unknown" when the motive remains unknown. They say "random" when the motive is obviously antiwhite hate and they don't intend to pursue or prosecute it.
Anyone white person who used a lawfully-obtained firearm to prevent this negro from killing him would find himself in a federal prison. Their case would not be obscure as the media would closely follow "the Hiking Path Killer trial", asking "are people of color safe in our state parks?".
As it turned out, eight years after being caught, Freddy Scott is being excused from accountability, held in a minimum security psych ward as the court tries to figure out how to drop the charges altogether.
Reminder that per capita, blacks are far more likely to be a serial killer than whites. That's not including "spree" killing or gang killing. Just flat out Webster dictionary serial killers.
By the way, Fredrick Scott remains free from justice in a psych facility as, eight years after a string of antiwhite murders of senior citizens, for which he literally said the words "kill all white people", the court is trying to determine if he is "competent" to stand trial.
