Something sinister has definitely gone on with islam, during the middle ages they were actually far more liberal than Christians (not that liberalism is a good thing), meaning that "Radical Islam" is a complete inversion of what Islam used to stand for.

I dont know about Islam outside of the fact that theyre a modern form of an ancient Christian heresy, but I think some sort of subversion of their religion into a savage demon cult happened after the fall of the ottoman empire, around when the jews started worming their way into the Hierarchy of the Church as well. Obviously being a heresy, they were subverted from the start, but the 180 from Ottoman Islam to "Radical" Islam is not a natural progression, any more than the complete lapse in the Church post V2 is natural. (In fact, we have confirmation that (((they))) were infiltrating before V2 and were unable to do as much damage as they wished with it).
