The Founding Fathers were fascists, not fucking lolbertarian retards. They decided not only taxes, but also [strong government intervention in the economy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_School_(economics)).
The state is **us**. The taxes that you pay go to the community, and you must contribute to the community because only in the community you can survive, let alone prosper.
