Most arguments with women are petty and not substantial enough to even hold on to as resentment. In this scenario usually cooler heads prevail. Walk away from argument, return for civil discourse.
Congrats man. I was in a similar situation 4-5 years ago except I was in a horrible relationship that was making me miserable. I left that relationship, found a new girl, and this year we got married and had our first kid

She is a super cool lady. Grew up Mormon, left the church when she was an adult, but not in an atheistic lib way. just keeping Christian and out of the crazier Mormon stuff.
