Gators are docile creatures. I had a go at a few while I was in the states. You don't want to be in the water with a male salt water crockie during the wet season.

Most gators are docile, and the tiny ones are cute, but I still would not draw near.

I think gators are awesome, but I have heard quite a few story's of pigheaded drunkards jumping into alligator claimed waters despite being told not to, and then, as to be expected, Poseidon takes no prisoners.

They are docile but also they're ambush predators so they won't waste a good opportunity if they're hungry
