Well, always. Since time immemorial, they have always considered themselves to be–and have been, genetically–a separate subspecies of *Homo europeansis*. Starting as whatever their tiny ethnic group was, they established a culture that claimed they alone are human and that all others are just animals in human form. In doing so, they *reinforced* (and increased) their genetic disparity by making it unlawful to procreate with the goyim (*whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses*). Jews are a vicious circle. They were a separate subspecies that developed a culture that made them a separate subspecies.
Jews became “only” a religion *only* in the very late 19th and early 20th centuries when they developed communism (which is literally just secularized jewish doctrine) and realized they needed to infiltrate white society (by masquerading as whites) to destroy it.
