Alright, lady. SUPPOSE that immigrants were eating people's pets. Suppose a Haitian living next door captured and ate your cat. What would you have us do about it? Wouldn't "saying immigrants eat our pets" still be unacceptable? After all, down that path lies gas chambers, right? Ergo, you can't take even one step in that direction. And that's just *mentioning* it. Forget about actually doing anything about it. We'd just have to live in a world of outdoor domestic butchery forever, is that it? Because obviously it's so evil to say "immigrants eat your pets."

It's not just that immigrants aren't eating your cat *right now* (which they aren't, of course) - immigrants will *never* eat your cat, so to even hypothesise a future cat-eating situation proves you're a bad person.
