Yeah, I've always felt like the Anglos are the lesser of the two (Anglo-Saxon). I haven't decided if it's Angles I'm actually against, or Normans, or if these two groups were simply used by our actual enemies to subvert the islands.
I've never liked the /pol/ meme of the "eternally evil Anglo" or whatever it is. You know, where they make the jew ask "who are you?" And the Anglo goes "you but more evil"
Then again, English nobility never truly accepted the Stewarts, and I feel like they were the last true monarchs of Britain. Fuck all the usurpers who came after them.
I'm going to have to do a deep dive on this Oliver Cromwell chap. Anglo landlords were kind of shit. The endless slave trading posts and the exiling of the misbehaved.
