To summarize: nigger.
Nigger was descriptive. But niggers were so reprehensible that people were spitting the word out. So they used negro to try and be nice. That also was descriptive but now it's considered offensive too. So they used black. Now that is offensive. African American had some time too. POC is merely the next stage in the euphemism treadmill.

I hate (((them))) even more now, rewriting the langues just complicates things. I learned the word nigger as a child, was in a bigger town and saw a crowd of people so I went there and tried to look at something I never seen before, confused I asked an older man, what is that. And he said "that, is a nigger". I'm gonna continue to say nigger every time I see a nigger.
Allegedly ''people of color'' because different shades of brown is a color. But black hair, blue eyes, red hair green eyes, gold, silver hair and all the other colors Caucasians display is all just ''White''.
