Why Solzhenitsyn married a jewess?

Solzhenitsyn is famous because of exposing the genocide of Slavs by Jews. But he married a jewess, who killed him.

Can somebody explain how is it possible? Was he a Jew himself?

If he exposed something he was probably controlled opposition. Especially if he married a jewess.
