The poor child is likely in limbo, the mother will never be able to see it again, if she repents and truly amends her life, she will end up in heaven, if she continues to murder she will end up in a lower layer of hell. But either way, she will not see her child. Some crimes can be forgiven, but the punishment still remains for eternity.
