You're both right about Darwin, in different ways. He simply figured out that God has been so diligent in his designed command to "be fruitful and multiply" that he built in the ability to change in small ways, that over time add up to cause them to be wholly different than what they started out as. He also identified what it was that most often causes those changes to occur.

I mean, if life was unchanging and static, we'd have the wild wolf and the pet wolf. No dog, even of a single breed, let alone the sheer variety there is now. And that's in a single species. That's us playing with that adaptation code. If we can influence so much variety in such a limited space and time, how the hell can anyone honestly say that there's no way that the same process can happen in nature, taken to an even further extreme?
